Join Shanghai Roots & Shoots and the Million Tree Project (MTP) as we throw our biggest-ever ROCK! For Roots & Shoots on Saturday, March 31st at Mao Livehouse.  This will be an all-night-marathon-fundraiser, full of rock & roll, comedy, DJs, and raffle prizes; all a part of an ongoing drive to raise a forest in Inner Mongolia to stop desertification in China.

We will kick-off at 6:00pm with performances by:

Banana Monkey,

Boys Climbing Ropes,

The Horde,

Moon Tyrant,

Da Bei, and

Gone Before Now.

There will also be comedic interludes by our funny friend Drew Fralick of Kung Fu Komedy, and DJ Cavia will spin all night long! A special acoustic guitar performance will be featured during Earth Hour from 8:30-9:30pm, joining people all across the globe in observing the rapid climate change our planet is undergoing. Watch for special raffle prizes and our Rock for Roots & Shoots ‘Poplar Potion’ cocktail.

Doors open at 6:00p.m. Bands start at 6:30pm until late.

Tickets are 60RMB each, including one drink and one tree planted by MTP in Inner Mongolia.
