2017年,MTP项目与内蒙古通辽市科尔沁左翼后旗林业局合作,在1个沙荒地进行了生态修复,造林树种包括樟子松、五角枫、柳树、黄菠萝、小叶锦鸡儿等,其中主体造林以樟子松为主,道路防风带以五角枫等为主,内部沙化区域栽植了部分小叶锦鸡儿。其中,穿插了部分柳树、黄菠萝等。

In 2017, cooperating with the Forestry Bureau in Keerqinzuoyihou Qi, Tongliao, MTP contributed to the ecological restoration in one sandy land by planting a mix of Pinus sylvestris L. var. mongolica Litv. (scotch pines), Acer mono (maples), willows, phellodendron amurens and caragana microphylla Lam. The main species is scotch pine. Maple trees were planted as the windbreak. While caragana were planted in some part of the desertified areas. Among them, a few willows and p. amurenses spread out over the plot.

2017-1林地立地条件较差,但林地整体呈狭长状,沿道路东西向,栽植和抚育的难度较低。经调查核算,2021年度总体保存率71.75%。该林地各树种保存率变化如下图,可以看到樟子松的保存率有所提升,五角枫的保存率再次下降,柳树的保存率大幅度下降,整个林地的保存率下降幅度较小,基本维持在70%以上。

The condition of the 2017-1 plot is poor, but the shape of the site is long and narrow, running along the road from east to west, so it’s relatively easy to plant and maintain trees. The overall survival rate in 2021 was 71.75%, and the survival rates of each tree species are shown in the below chart. It shows that the survival rate of pines was increasing, and the survival rate of maples dropped again, while the survival rate of willows decreased a lot. The overall survival rate of the forest site declined a bit and maintained over 70%.

林地情况说明 Forest Description
林地走访中发现,樟子松的树高均值增幅显著,生长加快。五角枫的树高变化不大,柳树的树高均值下降较多。地径和胸径是衡量一棵树生长情况的重要指标。可以看到,地径、胸径均值的增幅显著提高,同时高于1.3米的樟子松的比例也超过50%,林地进入一个相对快速的生长期。

We discovered in the forest survey that pines were growing significantly in height. The height of maples wasn’t change much and the height of willows dropped. Basal diameter and DBH are important indicators for evaluating tree growth. There was significant increase in the average basal diameter and DBH of trees. And the percentage of pines above 1.3 meters now was above 50%, meaning that the forest entered a fast-growing period.

柳树的保存率下降,地径均值发生下降,而胸径出现小幅度上升,这表明原先根部重新发芽生长的出来的柳树发生了死亡。原本较粗的部分作为测量地径的位置,发生死亡后,其较大的地径数值和较小的胸径数值脱离采样数据,导致数据波动。五角枫的地径数值逐渐上升,胸径逐渐可以测得数值;五角枫的生长在2021年度相对正常,保存率发生了一定程度的波动,需要继续保持观察和抚育措施。

The survival rate of willows declined, and the average basal diameter also declined, while the DBH increased a little. These factors indicate that the newly-sprout willows have died. They used to be measured as part of the higher-basal-diameter trees. With these trees being excluded from the data, some data of bigger basal diameter numbers and smaller DBH numbers were not included in the data pool anymore, which led to the fluctuating results. The basal diameter of maples continued to increase, and some DBHs of maples were measurable. The growth of maples was relatively healthy. There was some fluctuation in the survival rate, so further observation and maintenance work are needed.

樟子松的生长情况良好,内部植被覆盖度极高,但树行清晰。

The photo above shows that the pines were growing strong, and the vegetation coverage in the site was very high, but still, we could clearly see the tree lines.
