Hybrid poplars were planted on three sandy plots, in cooperation with Zhaogen Gacha (village) and Bianjie Gacha in Bahuta Sumu in 2014. With enclosure, the ecological recovery is going on in the three sandy lands of two villages. The survival rate of 2014-1 forest site is 57.33% in 2019. The changes of survival rates over years are mainly affected by replanting and measurement errors.
The differences between different areas have intensified. In the area that is close to roads and trails of grazing, the survival rates turn out to be worse than other areas. The survival rates are better inside the forest site, but it shows some problems of bushes overgrowing. The difference between trees is huge, while tall and small trees are both growing there. Inside the forest site, where the trees grow flourishingly, there appears physical crusts. The recovery of soil is going very well.
