In 2009, Poplars were planted on Plot 2009-3 while Yellow horns were planted on Plot 2009-1 and Plot 2009-2 in cooperation with the Forestry Bureau in Xianjin Sumu, Kulun Qi, Tongliao. This report represents the condition of both plot 2009-1 and 2009-2 since these two plots share similar external factors.
The survival rate of Yellow horns on Plot 2009-1&2 remains at round 70%. The growth of height in plot 2009-2 has stopped. This is due to the measurement error caused by the reduction of sample plots. The growth of the crown width has slown down with year, and the two plots gradually converge.
In plot 2009-1, forest is still in intercropping. The crown on the side of the interplanting is restricted to expand through methods such as agricultural cutting machinery.
The situation of plot 2009-2 can be seen from the figure, the distribution of seedlings is scattered, there is regional imbalance, and the difference between seedlings is obvious.
