该林地为杨树林地,杨树初植成活率较高,从保存率的变化看,林地的保存率长期稳定。

林地初植期,杨树的生长存在一定程度的不稳定性,树高、地径、胸径等指标容易受到林间农作的影响。树高均值存在一定波动的情况,基本维持增长趋势。林地胸径和地径均值前期增长迅速,在近几年的增长相对缓慢。胸径的测量的位置在树干1.3米高度处,苗木达到1.3米高度的比例是影响胸径变化的重要因素。可测量比例的变化较小,保持在75%左右,说明该比例为上限,林地也相对稳定。

In the first few years, there were some factors affecting the growth of poplars. The indicators such as tree height, basal diameter, diameter at breast height, were easily affected by the interplanting. The average height fluctuated while kept a trend of increasing. The average DBH and basal dimeter increased a lot in the beginning. In recent years, the increasing turned slow. The DBH was measured at 1.3-meter-high of the tree trunk. So reaching 1.3 meter was the key factor for the variations of DBH. The percentage of measurable trees didn’t change much and stayed around 75%. This should be the limit of the percentage. Overall, the forest was in a stable status.

During the forest visits, no interplanting was found, but quite a few traces of grazing left in the site, causing mechanical damages, such as broken branches. And some diseases and pests occurred. A lot of branches were cumulated at the bottom of the trees. The growth of the trees went slow. As the density was declining, there were layers of plants on the ground, leaving very few bare land exposed.
