樟子松简介
产于中国黑龙江大兴安岭海拔400-900米山地及海拉尔以西、以南一带的石砾沙土地区，东北及内蒙古东部广泛分布。
为喜光性强、深根性树种，耐寒（能忍受-50℃ 低温），耐旱（风沙土及土层很薄的山地石砾土上均能生长良好），适应性和抗逆性强
寿命长，一般年龄达150～200年
栽植准备

采用容器苗
3年以上苗木，在容器内生长至少六个月以上，已形成完整根系的苗木
栽植前浇水
苗木出圃前，浇足水，保证容器内土壤湿润，栽植时土壤不易散碎
春天和雨季栽植
春季生长期开始前以及雨季生长期结束后栽植，成活率较高
机械开沟
控制树苗行距，增加栽植深度，减少挖沟的劳动强度

以沟的一端为起点
每行由1人进行标记
使用铁锹作标尺
逐个标记浅坑
挖坑
以标记坑为中心挖掘
树坑一定要比树根大
上下粗度要一致
栽植后树根要全部被覆盖

将树苗放入树坑中央
保证营养土不散碎
第一次填土
扶好树苗填土
填土至最底部枝条
踩实，形成浇水坑
浇水
如果用桶
每个浇水坑至少需要半桶水
如果用水管
水要淹满树沟
最后填土
水完全渗入，开始填土
填土时扶好苗木
填满树坑，踩实
最后填一层松散干土
注意事项
铁锨千万别做撬杠使用，容易折断伤到自己
搬运避免营养土碎散
暂时不用的苗木要假植，避免根部暴露

Scots Pine
Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica Litv
Indigenious sepcies, can be widely found in northeastern China and Mongolia.
Heliophilous, deep-root, cold-resistent (can survive -50℃), drought-enduring (grow well in aeolian sandy soil and gravel soil with very thin soil layer), and perform well in adaptability and stress resistance.
Long life, usually live for 150-200 years.
Preperatioin

Container Seedling
Use container seedling (3+ y) who has grow in the container for at least six month and has well developed root system.
Irrigation before planting
Before the seedlings are removed from nursery, they shall be irrigated thoroughly, so the soil within the container is moist and won't easily fall apart.
Plant in spring and rain season
To plant before the spring growth period or after the rain season growth period, can ensure better survival rate.
Furrows
To control the line spacing, increase the plantation depth, and redude the labor intensity of digging.

Planting Procedure

Measuring
From one end of a furrow, one people will mark shallow holes, using shovel as a measuring tool

Digging
Take the marked shallow hole as center to dig tree holes
The tree holes must be bigger than the tree roots
The top and bottom of the holes should have identical diameters.
Deep enough to make sure the roots are fully covered after the tree is planted.

Plant
Remove the black container of the seedling
Place the seedling carefully in the middle of the tree hole
Make sure the soil don't break apart

Cover Soil
Hold the seedlings while refilling the hole with soil
Fill the hole till the lowest branch
Stomp firmly, forming a hole for irrigation

Irrigation
If use buckets, each tree hole needs at least half a bucket of water
If use tubes, pure enough water to ill the tree furrow.

Recover Soil
Recover soil after water is fully absorbed
Hold the seedlings while refilling the soil
Stomp firmly after fully refilled the tree hole
Cover the seedling roots with another layor of loose soil
Cautions
DO NOT use shovels as pry bars. It will break the shovels and hurt yourself.
While transport the seedlings, try to keep the soils from scatting into fragments.
If not to be planted soon, seedlings shall be false planted to avoid roots exposed to air.
